Mila has been with UCSF since 1998; first as a radiation therapist and then, in 2004, as a dosimetrist. She holds a BS Degree in Engineering from a Polytech University in Eastern Europe. She later graduated with Honor from Radiation Oncology Technology Program in San Francisco. Mila enjoys opera, languages and cross-cultural experiences.
Faye has been with UCSF since 2002 as a dosimetrist. She got a BS and a AS Degrees in Physical Therapy and Engineering from a Polytech University in Eastern Europe. She later graduated with Honor from Radiation Oncology Technology Program in San Francisco. Faye enjoys clasical music, chess and traveling.
Justin comes to us from Erie, Penn. He is a certified dosimetrist who earned his Master of Science in Medical Dosimetry in 2012 from Southern Illinois University. He has his RT/RTT with experience in X-ray technology, MRI technology and RTT technology.
Mariah has been with UCSF since 2012. She was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She graduated from Roswell Park Cancer Institute dosimetry program in Buffalo, NY in 2009. She has been a certifed medical dosimetrist since 2010, registered radiation therapist since 2008, and registered diagnostic x-ray technologist since 2005. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her dog, exploring the city, and running.
Robert has been with UCSF since 2012. He was born in Los Angeles, CA. He received his Bachelors of Science, Associates in Applied Science and Associate in Liberal Arts from the State University of New York. He has worked in Buffalo, NY as a Registered Radiation Therapist and Baltimore, MD as a Certified Medical Dosimtrist. In his free time Robert enjoys hiking, biking, traveling, day trips, plays a mean guitar, long walks on the beach and his sign is Aries, which is known for their courage, leadership and swagger.
Dosimetrist - student
Erin Shugard has worked at UCSF since 2009. She earned Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University and the University of Washington. After working at The Boeing Company Rocket Division as an engineer, she shifted her focus to research working at Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore and then here at UCSF in Radiation Oncology. She is now working towards becoming a certified medical dosimetrist.
